VirtuCameraCinema4D is provided as a Python Cinema 4D® plugin. Please follow these simple steps:

1. Unzip the archive, you can download it from the Home page.

2. Copy the contents of the archive: a file name virtucamera_cinema4d_plugin.pyp, and a folder virtucamera_cinema4d

3. Paste them in one of the following directories, depending on your operating system. If the plugins folder doesn’t exist, create it::

Windows: C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/Maxon/Maxon Cinema 4D  20**_********/plugins/

Linux: /home/<username>/.config/Maxon/Maxon Cinema 4D  20**_********/plugins/

Note for MacOS users: If you can’t find the Library folder, it’s probably hidden. You can use Cmd+Shift+. to show hidden files.

4. Open Cinema4D, in the menus list on top, press the menu Virtucamera, then press Virtucamera Server:

Done! you should have a new floating window with the VirtuCamera plugin ready to be used. You could dock it and save the layout for having permanently docked.
